Raspberry Mocha Frappucino??

Happy Friday!

I started off the day by sleeping in and waking up when my body told me to.  I was literally falling asleep at the computer last night and ended up in bed around 11, and today I woke up around 7!  8 hours baby!

Because I love working out in the morning, I was so excited to head out the door for a run as soon as I woke up this morning.  I felt so great while I was running!  It wasn’t too hot, I didn’t feel hungry, and I didn’t feel dehydrated.  I completed 4 miles with a 7 min 48 sec pace…that is the fastest mile I have ever run!

I then made a smoothie bowl for breakfast.

Does anyone remember those raspberry mocha frappacinos from Starbucks like 6 years ago?  Well I do, and I did this morning so I made a healthified version…In the mix:

  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • pinch of xanthum gun
  • 1/2 packet of swiss miss diet cocoa
  • 2 packets of splenda
  • handful of spinach
  • water and ice for volume
Tonight, I am having a Lia Sophia party and I need to get this apartment in tip top shape and finish up some tasty desserts!
